HIGHLIGHTS
- No expense spared build to exacting standards as a replica of the General Motors’ 50 Millionth automobile, originally produced on November 23rd 1954, this 1955 Bel Air was completed on January 29th 2024
- Featured in GM Scene, Hemmings, Old Cars, My City Flint Michigan magazine, Chevy Hardcore and eClassicAutos
- The car was publically debuted at the 71st annual Detroit Autorama
- The following weekend it competed for the first time at the 61st annual Chicago World of Wheels where it won Best in Class Restored, Top Twenty, Outstanding Display and Best Restored Overall
- New reproduction body and frame assembled by Real Deal Steel in Sanford, Florida
- Many original parts were supplied by Steve Blades of Falmouth, Kentucky
- Built and assembled by Snodgrass Chevy Restorations in Melbourne, Florida
- The chassis, running gear, suspension, steering, and body were painted with 5 1/2 gallons of Axalta custom mix “Tribute Gold” paint
- Interior and exterior stainless and chrome parts have been 24K Gold plated including door latches and strikers, trunk latch, hood latch, bumpers, wheel covers, dash trim and window cranks
- Reproduced custom design interior using NOS materials
- September 1954 dated 265/162 HP V-8 engine
- Cast iron 1955 2-speed Powerglide transmission
- 3.55 ratio rear differential

- The fuel filler neck, one-piece door striker plates, steering wheel, horn ring, heater control, trunk floor wiring tabs, 12V headlights and two-piece battery tray are all specific to October/November 1954 production cars
- Most of the interior/exterior stainless pieces are original GM parts
- Electrical switches are early NOS Delco parts
- The dashboard, steering column, and steering wheel are original parts from one of the 5,000 gold 1955 Bel Air 4 door sedans built by Chevrolet to commemorate the 50 millionth milestone
